Since 2006 Principle Homes has been a company focused on providing clients expert care and representation in the design, building, and remodeling process. We consider it a privilege to be a part of the change in lifestyle and enjoyment that comes from updating your spaces. Our goal is to use our years of accumulated experience as builders and designers to assist you in creating your vision for the place you call home. We do this by offering loyalty, honesty, integrity, and respect throughout the process. This is who we are and what we value. This is Principle Homes.
Meet the Team
David Banker
David was raised in a family deeply rooted in the construction industry, where he developed a strong foundation in the trades from an early age. Working alongside his father on weekends, he gained hands-on experience and a keen understanding of construction processes. During summer breaks, David spent time with his brother at his grandfather’s property in East Tennessee, where his grandfather, an engineer, imparted critical knowledge of structural concepts, including loads, cantilevers, and foundation design.
David started his career in building straight out of high school and within a few years was running the financial side of the family business. From building new homes, to managing subcontractors, David continued to learn all the aspects of a building company. In 2006, he branched out on his own and founded Principle Homes, a custom design-remodeling company dedicated to quality craftsmanship.
David lives in Franklin Tennessee with his wife and 4 children.
Madalyn Ingram
Madalyn is a driven Interior Designer bringing a unique blend of expertise, creativity, and a decade of industry experience. Growing up it was evident she had a creative spirit, and was given the freedom by her mother to redecorate her room frequently, and spend countless hours designing and building different projects with her dad.
Her design journey began at O’More College of Design in Downtown Franklin where she cultivated a passion for creating spaces that truly resonate with the client. With a diverse background in residential products, she’s acquired an in-depth knowledge of the elements that elevate a design. Her professional journey includes improving the client experience, project management, business operations, and high-end design.
Having called this vibrantly growing community home for 15 years, she not only brings a wealth of design knowledge but also a deep connection to the local community with involvement in her church, historic preservation, and supporting non-profits. This along with her experience in the field has allowed her to make lasting relationships with industry leaders and people within the community.
As a mom of two, she appreciates the importance of creating spaces that seamlessly blend style with practicality for the client to make lifelong memories.
